Date: February 29th 2012
Hello again!
Here’s another crew needing volunteers. It is again on
Saturday, March 10th, but they will be working on the Larch Mountain
Trail. There will be both saw and tread work. We need at least 8 folks for this
one, another sawyer (chainsaw) would be welcome.
You will meet at Multnomah Falls parking lot at 8 a.m. You
will go up as high as the snow will allow you to hike/work. It will be a full
day, but you will be back to the parking lot before dark! You will need to
bring your lunch, snacks and water. You will need to wear sturdy boots, long
pants and sleeves and bring rain gear and work gloves.
We will provide the tools and hardhats (gloves if you need
them), and ear plugs for those on the saw crew if needed. Please either hit the
reply button or send me an e-mail at tturner@pcta.org
if you are interested in going out on this crew.
John Cunningham & Busdriver John Vhay will be the crew
leaders.
Thanks so much for considering helping us on this one,
Tammy Turner
