Date: March 5th 2012

Hello,

We are in need one volunteer who would like to assist us with a photography project. We intend to document a few bucking scenarios through still photographs and video for use during saw training. Kim Owen and David Roe will be alternating as sawyer and safety spotter, so they need a third person to do the photography. It would be beneficial if this person has a little experience as an amateur photographer.

There is only minimal hiking involved. All the logs are all within a mile of a road.

This project is weather dependent. The PCT at Wind River is currently right at snowline. They, Kim & David, will be checking weather on the morning of March 8 and make a final go/no-go decision at that time.

There is an opportunity to carpool for this event, leaving the metro area about 7:30 AM and returning about 5:00 PM. Exact times to be confirmed on March 8.

So if you are interested in helping out with this opportunity, please let me know by either hitting the reply button or sending me an e-mail directly at tturner@pcta.org. I will then get you in touch with the two sawyers.

Thank you so much for considering this volunteer opportunity!
