Date: October 26th 2011
Sorry there seems to have been some confusion about this work
party. Let me clarify: It is this Saturday, October 29th and
is a one day crew. You will be hiking in from Herman Creek Trailhead in the
morning and working on either logging out this one tree or tread work. You will
need to bring your lunch, wear long sleeves and pants and sturdy boots. The
hike in will be about 2 miles and has some elevation gain to it. (I don’t know
what exactly, I just know it is uphill for part of the trip)
Again, if you are interested in joining this work party,
please let me know by either hitting the reply button or sending me an e-mail!!
Thanks again,
Tammy

Subject: PCTA Work Crew - Oct. 29th - Finish-up log out & tread work
Hello folks!!
There was a log out last Saturday from Dry Creek south
(east) towards Herman Creek, there was an issue with a large tree and we
need to go back to finish it up! (I was on this crew and the tree is a doozie)
There is also some tread work that needs to be done as well. This crew will go
in from Herman Creek Trailhead as it is closer to the offending tree.
Interested in going out to help on this? Hit the reply
button or send me an e-mail and I’ll get you on the list. Crew leader is
Roberta Cobb.
Thanks for reading!
