Date: October 9th 2011
What a great day!! It was a little cool and overcast, but it
didn’t actually rain on us, so it was all good. The food was amazing, you
all outdid yourselves with bringing such a great array of food to enjoy! We had
a good turn out too, thank you to all that joined us.
I did not get to go out on the interpretive hike, but from
what I heard about it, I really wish I could have!! Just the right length and
so much information about what grows there and the Arboretum itself.
Thank all of you, those that came to just go on the hike or
for the hike and share food afterwards, we really appreciate all that you do
for the PCT and the Mt. Hood Chapter. Thank you also to the Hoyt Arboretum and
their great volunteers for letting us have the space for a wonderful event.
Hope you all had a great time too and we’ll see you
out there!
