Date: September 8th 2011
Hey Folks!!
Here’s an opportunity to go out for a few days in the wilderness
and work with a great group of AmeriCorps Volunteers!!
The AmeriCorps Junction Lake Crew, running September 26th
– October 1st has 2 open spots. We will be doing turnpike
reconstruction in Indian Heaven Wilderness south of Junction Lake. It is a
pack-supported crew and meals are provided. (And the one I went out on, the
food was marvelous!!)
If you could only commit to 3 days, that would be
acceptable. Contact Bill Hawley, directly for application and details; bhawley@pcta.org. Transportation could be
provided as well.
So, give Bill a shout out if you are interested!!
Thanks,
Tammy Turner
