Hello,
Come out and help on the PCT and then stay for some fun at PCT
Days at Marine Park in Cascade Locks! We will be working on an area of the PCT
that needs some TLC. It should be a great day, see ya’ll out there!!

The Work-Party for PCT Days will be on the PCT just up
behind the Herman Creek Work Center.
When:
Sept. 3rd – 8:00 AM (we quit at 2:00 and join the fun on
the island)
Where: Meet
at the Herman Creek Work Center just east of Cascade
Locks
Who:
This crew is for all skill levels (please leave pets and children under 14 at
home).
What:
We will work on restoration of a slumped trail section in a rock slide area as
well as tread widening south of
the Herman
Junction.
Bring:
Lunch, water (2 quarts. min.), gloves, long pants, long sleeve shirt, sturdy
boots (not running shoes), sun screen,
and rain gear
just in case.
Gear:
We provide all needed tools, hard hats, and other safety gear.

Volunteers for the Mount Hood Chapter of the Pacific Crest Trail Association maintain the 217 miles of PCT between Midway Meadows south of Washington's Goat Rocks Wilderness and Park Ridge in Oregon's Mount Jefferson Wilderness.
Members of this mailing list are notified of upcoming trail maintenance projects, training opportunities, meetings and other information relevant to the Mount Hood Chapter.
