MT ADAMS LOG OUT
FRIDAY, SATURDAY, & SUNDAY - AUGUST 12, 13, & 14
8 Maintainers/Sawyers needed to clear from the Wilderness Boundary to
Horseshoe Meadow and Trail 64A in the Mt. Adams Wilderness Area.
We will car camp at the Williams Mine trail head, 14 miles north of Trout
Lake. Plan to meet at the Williams Mine trail head by 2:00, Friday.
We will set up base camp and get some work accomplished. This will allow
a full work day on Saturday and a short day on Sunday. Priority will be
given to those able to do the entire weekend, but Saturday/Sunday volunteers
are welcome.
You will need to provide your personal camping gear and the usual work clothes;
long sleeve shirt and pants, heavy boots, & gloves. Hard hats, tools,
and meals will be provided; even some liquid refreshment for after work
hours.
