Date: January 16th 2016

Hey Everyone,

We are just one week out from THE MT. HOOD CHAPTER ANNUAL CELEBRATION!! Come celebrate our accomplishments of 2015.

We’re in Sandy at the Mt. Hood National Forest Headquarters - Doors open at Noon, program starts at 1 p.m. We start with our Chapter Chair, Roberta Cobb, giving a presentation on all our work this year and talk about the Chapter, past and present.

The Forest Service will be giving out special “thank you” gifts to all the volunteers that worked on the trails in 2015. We keep track<smile>!

We will also have a speaker from the Forest Service, she will be doing a presentation about the historic structures in the Mt. Hood National Forest wilderness. Should be an interesting presentation, as there are quite a few out there to learn about. You could use this to plan your next hiking trip!

Come eat the goodies that the Mt. Hood Chapter Caretakers have brought, have a cup of coffee or tea and socialize with the volunteers, forest service folks, and MHC Caretakers.

Lots of fun and information. Bring your friends and family too! Come even if you haven't made it out on a work crew yet, this is a good time to see what we do out there and to meet the Caretakers/Crew Leaders that you will be working with. We will be done by 3 p.m.

We will be at the Mt. Hood National Forest Headquarters, 16400 Champion Way, Sandy, Oregon 97055. It's on the right as you enter Sandy from the west on Route 26. You can park on the roadside (not Rt 26), if you can't find a space in either of the lots that will be open for us.

Need more information or have a question? Send Tammy an e-mail

at tturner@pcta.org and she'll do her best to get back to you asap!

Hope to see a lot of folks out there!
