Date: August 16th 2015
Hello everyone!
Here’s something fun to do, a work party and then you can hang out in Cascade Locks for PCT Days! This project is in collaboration with PCT Days in Cascade Locks.
The trail has been giving to you – here's a chance to give back to the trail. We’ll pull invasive plants from alongside the trail, focusing on Herb Robert (aka Stinky Bob), holly, and ivy, and even compost the plants on site. No experience
required! We are looking for 10 volunteers to help out on Friday, August 28th, we will be working in the Cascade Locks area.
Volunteers will need to wear long pants and closed-toed shoes, and bring water, lunch, and snacks. Volunteers can walk between the PCT Days event site and our meeting/work site.
As always, we’ll provide hard hats and gloves. And all the tools needed. And any instruction needed too!
Sound like fun?? Hit reply or send me an e-mail at
tturner@pcta.org and I’ll get you on the list!
