Date: July 22nd 2015
Hello Everyone,
Here’s a crew for new volunteers, and any others that might want to join, at Wahtum lake on
Saturday August 1. We need a minimum of 8 volunteers. We will be bringing about 500 feet of tread back to standards with brushing and duff removal and recutting.
The trail is shaded for most of the day and on the contour, so it should be a nice walk in the woods<smile>! Well with a little work thrown in.
You will need to wear long sleeves, long pants and sturdy boots, plus bring work gloves and a hard hat if you own one. You will also need to bring your lunch, water and snacks
for the day.
We will provide all the tools, hard hats and yes, gloves if needed. We will also provide any instructions that might be needed to do any of the tasks required! Your crew
leader for the day is, Busdriverjohn. When the crew is filled he will send out an e-mail with all the particulars for the day.
Sound like fun? Hit reply or send me an e-mail at
tturner@pcta.org and I’ll get you on the list.
Thanks for all your hard work so far this year!!
Tammy
