Tammy
Hello again,
The crew leader, Busdriver John has been waiting to see if the weather would break before calling this work party. And he has decided to go with it!
So, we need 4 more volunteers to help
Saturday, July 11th, yes this Saturday!
The crew will hike the Indian Springs cutoff to the bottom and cut out 4 trees.
The plan is to get there early (by 8:30am) and get it all done and then get back to the cars before it gets to hot! It is a real climb back to the cars, a 2 mile hike.
You will need to be in long pants and long sleeves and wearing sturdy boots. Please bring a good pair of work gloves and a hard hat if you have one. You will also need to bring water, enough for a hot day! and lunch and snacks as well.
We will provide all the tools and instructions needed for the day. Plus we will have hard hats and some gloves in case you don’t have them, or forget them on your dining room table, like I did!
If you can help out this Saturday, July 11th, please hit reply or send me at e-mail at
tturner@pcta.org
Thanks so much,
Tammy
