Date: June 17th 2015

Hello Folks,

We are in need of 5 volunteers on Sunday, June 28th to work on the Snag Creek section of the trail.

We will be cleaning up a rock slide and repairing the tread once the slide has been removed. This may involve carrying dirt to this area to fill it in, we will be using ‘dirt bags’ or totes to carry the dirt. There is some drainage that needs to be cleaned up and repaired. And some basic brushing and tread work too. Lots of variety for everyone!

The round trip hiking will be about 4 miles. The crew leaders will be Tami Keller-Sheets and Roberta Cobb.

You will need to wear long sleeves, long pants and sturdy boots. Please bring a pair of good work gloves and a hard hat if you own one. You will need to provide your lunch, snacks and water for the day as well. Bring any sunblock or bug repellant you might need as well. There is always a chance of rain, so be prepared!

We will provide all the tools and instructions needed. We will also provide hard hats and will have some gloves as well.

If you can join us on this crew, please hit reply, or send me an e-mail at tturner@pcta.org, and I will get you on the crew list.

Thank you!

Tammy
