Hello!! We still need folks for this crew and it would be a shame if we couldn’t get these finished up before the hiking season starts in earnest!! So if you can go out on this one. . . please hit reply and let me know.
Thanks,
Tammy
Hey there folks,
Here’s a good one, 2 projects on one day! We need 2 volunteers for a Cascade Locks 2-fer project on
Monday June 15.
First you will be finishing the Trail Skills College tread reconstruction class project at the beginning of Herman Creek Trail by hauling a few loads of gravel with toters. Then you will head over to Moody Street and remove the log jam
below the trail at a spot that gets very muddy when it rains. There will be driving between the two sites.
You will need to wear long sleeves and pants and sturdy boots too. Bring a pair of work gloves and a hard hat if you own one! You will also need to bring your lunch, snacks and water for the day. Please bring clothing that will protect
you from the weather, it might rain it is Oregon after all. Also, sun screen and bug repellant is advised too!
We will provide all the tools and instructions needed to complete this work. Plus we will provide hard hats and will have some gloves available for those that don’t have or forgot theirs!
So if you can make this one, please hit reply or send me an e-mail at
tturner@pcta.org and I’ll get you on the list!
Thanks for considering this work party,
Tammy
