Date: June 8th 2015

Hey there,

Here’s a mid-week crew for those that work on weekends or just want to take a break from regular work. We need 6 volunteers to help repair eroded water crossing on Upper Muddy Fork, Thursday June 18th.

We will be rebuilding sections of the trail where water crossing have eroded the tread and created a safety hazard for hikers. We will be digging out sections of tread and moving and building with large rocks and boulders to reinforce the trail and prevent future erosion. The hiking distance will be 3 to 5 miles round trip. Our crew leader will be Robert Caldwell

You will need to wear long sleeves, long pants and sturdy boots, also good work gloves. You will also need to bring your lunch, snacks and water for the day. Weather appropriate clothing is needed as well as sun block and/or bug repellant.

We will provide all the tools, hard hats and will have some gloves available, but cannot guarantee fit or matching pairs.

So if this sounds like something you would like to do, please hit reply or send me an e-mail at tturner@pcta.org and I’ll get you on the crew list.

Thanks and have a great Monday!

Tammy
