Date: May 14th 2015

Hello folks,

Here is an opportunity to car camp and do trail work too! We need 6 volunteers to help with trail maintenance on the Indian Springs Cutoff on May 22nd & 23rd (Friday & Saturday).

You will need to bring all your gear for camping and meals as well – dinner Friday, & two meals Saturday, plus any snacks you might want. Also water! And as always you will need to wear long pants, long sleeves and sturdy boots. You should not wear cotton as that will increase your chance of hypothermia. Also, please bring weather appropriate clothing as it is Oregon and you never know what you might need.

We will provide all the tools and hard hats (unless you own your own) and gloves if needed.

You will be camping about 1.5 miles south of Wahtum Lake and it is rough road to get there. Carpooling may also be an option. The crew leader Busdriver John will send out the ‘particulars e-mail’ when the crew list has been filled.

So does this sound enticing? Then hit reply or send me an e-mail at tturner@pcta.org and I’ll get you on the crew list.

Thanks for reading,

Tammy
