Hello all you Sawyers and Sawyer “wannabes”
Here is your chance to get recertified or certified for the first time for Chain Saw and Crosscut Saw. Please read below to find out more about this
opportunity.
When: Friday, Saturday and Sunday,
April 24, 25 & 26, 2015
Where: Wind River Training Center, Stabler, WA
The saw training is open to all PCTA Volunteers and Members, with valid First Aid and CPR. It is highly recommended that you complete the ‘Intro to Logout’ or the ‘Intro to Chain Saw’ and ‘Chain Saw Practicum’, at Trail Skills College.
An even better recommendation is that you have been out working on other logouts with the PCTA or other groups.

Volunteers for the Mount Hood Chapter of the Pacific Crest Trail Association maintain the 217 miles of PCT between Midway Meadows south of Washington's Goat Rocks Wilderness and Park Ridge in Oregon's Mount Jefferson Wilderness.
Members of this mailing list are notified of upcoming trail maintenance projects, training opportunities, meetings and other information relevant to the Mount Hood Chapter.
