Hello Sawyers,
Are you interested in learning to sharpen crosscut saws?? Here are some opportunities for you to learn this.
The first is with David Roe, a PCTA Volunteer Saw Instructor. I’ve attached an FAQ document about this. If you are interested, you should contact David at
droe@pcta.org.
Scheduling is completely flexible. Any student can propose a day and if available, David will make that day open to two students.

If you can get away to northern California, consider taking Dolly Chapman's course in Calpine. Three day courses are offered March 24-26 and March 27-29 at a cost of $175, more info here:

Volunteers for the Mount Hood Chapter of the Pacific Crest Trail Association maintain the 217 miles of PCT between Midway Meadows south of Washington's Goat Rocks Wilderness and Park Ridge in Oregon's Mount Jefferson Wilderness.
Members of this mailing list are notified of upcoming trail maintenance projects, training opportunities, meetings and other information relevant to the Mount Hood Chapter.
