VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR TRAIL MAINTENANCEPCT Day Work PartyAugust 282000 Rd - 2090 Rd
This area has been looking for a crew to restructure drainages for the last 3 years. We need at least a dozen folks to dig out, clean, and restructure 4 seasonal creek crossings. In addition, the whole section needs to have logs removed, and lots of brush cut so hikers, runners, and horses can stay on the tread. There is one landslide to clear if we have time.
Meet at the Bridge-of-the-Gods Rest Area, Oregon Side, at 9:00 AM Saturday August 28th. Bring your lunch and water. You need sturdy footwear (no running shoes) long sleeve shirt, long pants, and gloves.
After the work join us for pizza and a cool drink.
