VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR TRAIL MAINTENANCE

Thursday to Saturday, July 15-17 & July 22-24

               

Mt. Hood National Forest, Wahtum Lake/Indian Mountain work party overnights. Reconstruction of Indian Mountain tread in nonwilderness area with mechanized totes and weed whackers. Join the Forest Service crew on Thurday of each week and continue on our own on Friday and/or Saturday. Car camping at Indian Springs - meals provided. Trail is mainly exposed/ great views and a chance to tan. NO CROSS CUT SAWS THIS YEAR!! Crew leader: John Vhay

Volunteers for the Mount Hood Chapter of the Pacific Crest Trail Association maintain the 217 miles of PCT between Midway Meadows south of Washington's Goat Rocks Wilderness and Park Ridge in Oregon's Mount Jefferson Wilderness.

Members of this mailing list are notified of upcoming trail maintenance projects, training opportunities, meetings and other information relevant to the Mount Hood Chapter.
