VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The heart of the Mt. Hood Chapter of the Pacific Crest Trail Association is our e-mail list and roster of volunteers. However, people move away or they get older (sad to say) and the lists need to be constantly revitalized.  One method for keeping them viable is your word of mouth and we appreciate it. Another method is our Volunteer Solicitation program at REI Clackamas Town Center.

The program has been very successful, but we need more volunteers to staff the tables if we wish to keep it going. If you enjoy talking to people about hiking and trail maintenance, this is for you. It only involves an occasional three hour shift on a Saturday or Sunday; the next one is Saturday, May 22. With two people staffing the table they can spell each other for shopping, eating or whatever.

If you're available please hit the reply button, e-mail <jjk-jsk@comcast.net, or phone (503)579-2841.

Thanks,
