Date: October 2nd 2015

Hello everyone,

Here’s a chance to go out on an end-of-season major log removal  on Saturday October 10. We need 4 crosscut sawyers and 4 ‘swampers’ (helpers) to work on the Upper  Eagle Creek between Tanner Trail Junction and "Nose" Switchback 4 miles from Wahtum Lake.

We will meet at 9 and split into 2 crews for efficiency and be back to cars by 6; a long day for sure, but it should be cool.

You will need to bring lunch, snacks and water for the day. Plus wear long pants, long sleeves and sturdy boots and as always bring a comfortable pair of work gloves. If you have a hard hat, bring it along too. It is October, so the weather can be unpredictable, so bring appropriate outer wear too.

We will provide all the tools and instruction as necessary. The crew leader will be Busdriverjohn.

If this works for your schedule and interests, please hit reply or send me an e-mail tturner@pcta.org and I’ll get you on the crew list.

Thanks,

Tammy
