Date: June 22nd 2015

Hello everyone,

Here is a great opportunity to get out for a few days of trail work and sleeping out too!

Join us for a three night work party on Mt. Hood July 11-14. This is a Saturday through Tuesday.  We'll be working on the PCT as it heads north from Timberline Lodge but concentrate our work on a triangle formed by the PCT and the Paradise Park Loop. This section is far enough away that it doesn't always get the basic care it needs.

We are hoping for a crew of 8-10 people. You will need to carry all your backpacking gear, food, and a couple tools too. We will hike in 5.5  miles on Saturday and establish a base camp at Paradise Park for three nights. During the days we will be working somewhere within that "triangle", hiking up to 2.5 miles out to get to the work site.

Preference will be given to people who can be with us all 4 days but we can consider other situations.

We welcome any questions you may have, ask them here  bmaffy@msn.com

Crew leaders:  Chris Keil and Ruth Weston

If this is something you’d like to get in on, please reply to Ruth Weston at bmaffy@msn.com and she will get you on her list!
