Hello volunteers!
We are in need of
one or two volunteers to help with a survey/scouting trip of the PCT between Lemiti Meadow and North Pinhead Butte.
Saturday, May 2nd, 2015
This will be a hiking only trip to record number, size, and location of windfalls across the trail. Also to photograph difficult log scenarios if needed.
Total hiking distance:
4-7 miles with one group going south and one group going north from trail intersection.
You will need to wear long pants, long sleeves and hiking boots
(may have to traverse snow drifts), you will also need to bring/wear appropriate outerwear. You will need to provide your lunch, snacks, water, favorite insect repellant, and camera.

Volunteers for the Mount Hood Chapter of the Pacific Crest Trail Association maintain the 217 miles of PCT between Midway Meadows south of Washington's Goat Rocks Wilderness and Park Ridge in Oregon's Mount Jefferson Wilderness.
Members of this mailing list are notified of upcoming trail maintenance projects, training opportunities, meetings and other information relevant to the Mount Hood Chapter.
