Hello Everyone,
Here’s an opportunity for beginning and intermediate crosscut sawyers. David Roe is offering a class on Crosscut Saw selection and basic maintenance course. There is room
for 6 volunteers to join this training.
It is happening on Sunday October 19th, 2014; 9:30 AM through 4:00 PM at the Pinchot National Forest - Wind River Training Center (10 minutes north of Carson, WA). Lunch will be provided, please bring your own cup, plate and utensils to help us reduce the waste!
Description:
This class is intended to provide beginning and intermediate crosscut sawyers with the skills to:

Understand how a crosscut saw works
This class is taught in a workshop environment using a traditional saw vice and vintage tools.
Note: This course includes an overview of the crosscut saw sharpening process. In order to become a qualified saw
sharpener, attendance in a comprehensive 3-5 day sharpening course will be necessary.
