Date: August 12th 2014
Hello Volunteers!
I’m a bit behind on this one, vacation woes, but there is still a need for volunteers at the
8th Annual Pacific Crest Trail Days, September 5-7, 2014
being held at Cascade Locks Marine Park.
PCT Days is a fun event for the whole family! Lots of gear and information to be found at the Marine Park. Plus, it’s free!! But it needs volunteers to help it run smoothly,
so if you are interested in helping out, send an e-mail to
pctdaysvol@gmail.com and you will receive information about tasks that need to be done and shifts that need to be filled.
Volunteers are asked to sign up for one 3 hour shift and can sign up for additional
shifts. All tasks are located on the event site, so no car or long walking distances is
necessary. Upon arrival to the event, please check in 10 minutes prior to your shift at
the PCT DAYS event info booth, (located between the ALDHA-WEST & PCTA booths) to
get briefed and to receive your free volunteer items!
You can also check out the all the things going on at the event and thus pick your volunteer shift to work around things you might like to do while out there, by going to the website:
www.pctdays.com I especially like the idea of getting to walk across the Bridge of the Gods without cars! That is happening from 9 to 9:30 on Saturday morning, check it out!!
Thanks for considering helping out with this great event,
Tammy
