Date: May 14th 2014
Hey Folks,
Here's another opportunity for you. We need approximately 6 volunteers to help out on Saturday, May 24th for some brushing and tread work on the PCT near Cascade Locks.
We will work on removal of poison oak for a short time. We will have lots of Tecnu available. Round trip of approximately 6 miles considered a hard hike.
There will be carpool options, starting early in the a.m. and we will be back to the trailhead by 4:00pm.
Tim Duncan is our crew leader!
We have a wonderful view of the Gorge 5 minutes hike from the project; it makes for a good lunch spot.
You will need, as always, to bring your lunch, snacks and plenty of water. And youll need to wear long pants, long sleeves and sturdy boots. Well provide you with the hard hat, tools and gloves!
If this sounds fun and interesting, please hit the reply button or send me an e-mail tturner@pcta.org and I'll get you on the crew list!
Come out and lets have some fun,
Tammy
