Date: May 1st 2014
Hey there folks,
We need to fix a bridge! We need 6 volunteers to help with this project. You will need to be able to help carry lumber into the site, these are 2x6x10’s and the hike in is about 4 miles. This will be on
Thursday, May 8th, next week. We will be working with Forest Service personnel as well.
Dennis Beard is the crew leader. You will need, as always, to bring your lunch, snacks and water. And you’ll need to wear long pants, long sleeves and sturdy boots. We’ll provide you with the hard hat, tools and gloves!
This could be a fun project for those crazy beaver type folks out there!! Okay, so maybe Civil Engineers in the group. Wanna help out? Then hit the reply button or send me an e-mail at
tturner@pcta.org and I will put you on the list.
Thanks for all your help so far this year! And the season is just starting<smile>!!
